I have a 19cm wrist and regularly wear 30mm & 31mm round watches. Another, a favourite, has a (formed movement in) a 26mm-wide rectangular case. They're all beautiful, which is more than you can say for my wrist.
I actually think it's perfect on your wrist
36mm is not small, and I think it's better suited in most cases compared to the larger sizes. This sits really nice on your wrist. Richard

I don't think it's just for smaller wrists...
