36mm is perfect size.
Here's mine from 2017 - no date with great 3-6-9 indices but sadly no longer obtainable new from Rolex.

36mm is not small, and I think it's better suited in most cases compared to the larger sizes. This sits really nice on your wrist. Richard

I don't think it's just for smaller wrists...
