... but somehow Rolex changed for other types of indexes which catched the favor of clients of the brand. Notwithstanding Rolex kept offering both the DJ and DD with both painted and applied Roman numerals as well even in the present.
I feel the so called Buckley dial is a very elegant, classy and under the radar type which will give you much pleasure and joy wearing it.

I've noticed that Buckley dial Datejusts do not get much attention from general Rolex fans. That seems to be the case across fora. It's been about 12 years since they acquired the nickname and, while this has prompted some interest, it's still a sleeper. ...

I agree with you in terms of these dials being very distinctive, and looking at the Rolex catalogue they do stand out. Do you think that some dials, based on colour and the case they sit in, are maybe too classic in styling for the newer collector and so ...

Lovely. I toyed with the idea of combining my like for a Buckley with a Day Date too.
In the end I took the simpler route. I think it'll work better with the lifestyle I've found myself in. Enjoy yours. I'm sure it's a very private treat.
