Tudor, a company certainly out of the shadows of its "little" sister
two words define Tudor for me...
"heritage and modernity" Tudor manage to do what Rolex doesnot, they make superb modern renditions of their past and yet captivate a much younger audience with new modern designs and materials.
Lets start with heritage and the new version of the Monte Carlo in blue. Perfect. I could just end the summary there. One word, sufficient, perfect. What Davide has done is create a modern take on a thoroughbred classic. I love how the dial is not grey, not white but a vintage looking patinanted off white. An off white which brings the deep blue to the fore. As I said perfect.

Then the modern. The Fastrider. A watch in collaboration with Ducatti. A fantastic modern chrono, and in ceramic. Of the two versions I prefer the sand as opposed to the red. The alcantara strap is fantastic, and the price point is perfect (half the price of the Omega speedmaster ceramic).

of course you cant try on the watch and not the Ducatti right?

even though I am a car man, this was an awesome machine..
and finally, the Heritage alrm with a devastatingly beautiful update.....a black dial! with gorgeous red accents, killer combo.

and Finally, a model you luckily wont have to buy.... the man himself, Davide "one piece of toast"
(I am the one with glasses and beard )

and yes, Tudor will be making a comeback in the USA (no news for us in the UK, but I did shout hard
)
Hope you enjoyed the Tudor experience.
Best
