But still lacks the charm of the rose and the curved "self winding” script at the bottom of the ETA version.
As small a detail it is for some, i personally put more weight on it over the apropos 39mm diameter. I can live with the ETA version if and when I'm in the market for a modern Tudor Sub. The size of that one isn't bad vis-a-vis the appeal of a 39mm.
Now if that rose and script version wasn't "re-issued" AT ALL..

things move on and the issue of the rose logo is not a deal breaker for me.
So far Rolex and Tudor are delivering super strong offerings.
Need more time to reflect but for first impressions the strongest brand releases this year maybe...
Not confirmed though just read it somewhere.
Nonetheless if that’s the case there would be at least 2x Tudor and 1x Rolex I “want” but that seems excessive hah.

the Black Bay Fifty-Eight is not only a bit smaller than a standard Black Bay, it's also quite a bit thinner, coming in at a svelte 11.9mm (vs 14.75mm on the 41mm wide models)

79220N is still the grail in my opinion. This will become the standard that I compare these newer models to.
There are still 79220 R or B sitting in AD cabinets waiting for a home.
The N however is a different story.
