I think people see Chicago as a city with a lot of wind (that was a reference to its politicians btw) cold winters (true) and crime (true in parts) but it’s also a photogenic city with great architecture, very good food, world class arts, and amazing views around the lakefront. I’ve been here for 27 years after living in 12 cities, 7 countries and 3 continents before figuring out this was home.
