Best Patek for Daily Wear?
Dear Forum,
I've been thinking of consolidating my collection of typical daily wearers (Speedmaster, JLC Reverso Grande Taille, & Sea Dweller) and going for a simple Patek model like the 3919 or 3796 with the 215 manual movement or a basic automatic as in 3802 for every day wear. Since finding a vintage 2573 with the 23-300 movement, I haven't been able to wear anything else. I'm hoping to find something similar but a little more contemporary to be the perfect "cure" for my watch habits (while not totally breaking the bank...). Do you have a favorite for daily wear? Manual vs Automatic?

waterproof , automatic with date, steel and discreet and on a sunny day like today that dial keeps changing colour. regards darma

A nautilus has become my daily wearer but out of then my 5712 seems to be most comfortable and versatile.

Agree with all the above.............go with a Nautilus or Aquanaut. Or possibly a pre owned Calatrava date, such as the 5107 or 5127

You have got the right one in mind already: 3919
Or the 5119 if you want a bit more presence. But I fear the 5119 might be already too costly as you are saying "not to break the bank". A well looked after 3919 is on the secondary market an affordable piece to get. Regards Moritz
