Modern Patek - Tiffany or no Tiffany on dial?
Hi -
I wanted to get purists opinions on how they feel about having "Tiffany&Co" on a modern Patek dial? Do you feel this makes the Patek more special? Do you feel this just clutters the dial and the overall design of the watch?
I was looking at a 5960P the other day and I realized after a minute or two that the dial had the Tiffany logo printed just below the Geneve on the dial. I was ambivalent about it - What do you think?
I know that on some vintage Pateks Tiffany& Co dials may be extremely coveted - but on a Modern watch - do you care or not?
Thanks,
asg

i prefer simplicity - without the tiffany on the dial. one reason that i like patek watches is the fact that they are simple - even when "complicated." if i am going to have something additional on my dial, i'd prefer it be functional (date, small seconds...

Frankly the addition of Tiffany and Co on the dial does not matter very much to me. The font is relatively small so that in my opinion it does not detract from the beauty of the dial. Also although we don't want to admit it as we are paying for this very ...

I have no relationship/have never been to tiffanies, so I would prefer it without it, as I think it looks simpler=nicer to my eye. But I can perhaps understand people who have a longstanding "relation" or understanding of the retailer. form a monetary per...

Yes you can request that Tiffany is not on the dial. But if it is already there they are unlikely to replace a dial. Where on the dial the "Tiffany" is placed is determined by Patek. Which watches are Stamped with the Tiffany name is mostly determined by ...
