Indeed, honestly a mix of several techniques is not so common even for these rare handcrafts, it was certainly a nice addition! Hope to show you in the metal one day, it's not even comparable to the pictures I can take ;-)

That's a great point regarding Suzanne Rohr, she's truly at the very top of her field and thanks to Patek (the Sterns in particular view it as a mission) this amazing form of art has not only been preserved, but become extremely popular👍🥂

Thanks my friend, the hobnail pattern on the bezel has indeed been welcomed by many collectors...it’s a new feature that so far is a peculiarity of the recent 5177G reference (vs. e.g. the 5089G)👍
