Well said Iceman! Many of us have been more of a lurker of than a contributor to the forum, and it's unfortunate to see those unnecessary and nasty comments. You shouldn’t have told them the obvious, let more fools be made of themselves so they can contin... 

I personally do not like some of the responds made by Jeff, but i suppose he was pushed too hard by acclaim "EXPERT". My point is We as older members here sd guide Newbies and be a good example. Not attacking just because he is collecting differently fro... 

I deserve Jeff's middle finger, and again humbly send apologies. This place would not be fun if we always agreed with each other and were always patting each other on the back. If I choose to post a strong comment or voice an opinion that is argumentative... 

And I concur we do not always have to agree on everything. But what we all should agree is we sd be always polite/civil when conveying a respond. Best Iceman

Nice watches. But I'm really more astounded by the Bulgari cuff and snake ring. After all I see a lot more watches than snake rings. Thank you for the photos! Are the photos really taken from your Vertu phone? Or is there another camera taking the photos?... 

It was the photographer's suggestion in making it look like a selfie....vertu's camera not so fantastic though. LOL Cheers!

Finding some vintage pieces can prove hard and that process of firstly researching a watch that you love from Patek's history and then going about finding it provides a different type of enjoyment. Arie, you ask why go vintage? My question would be why re... 

yourself to modern. Am not saying you shouldn't buy vintage. Just saying that Vintage isn't heaven. Often the watches look terrible in my opinion. Messed up dials and hands which lovingly will be called patina. Patina often means rough state if you ask me... 

But I do like the three vintage pieces you mention. Plenty more I like too!

I now see that you are not trolling, Arie, and that the value of vintage is actually lost on you. So be it. But, as far as I can tell, no one asked you your thoughts on patina, and frankly, given the merit of your comments, I suspect no one will. I agree ... 

I have no problem with different opinions....its what life is. What I think is important is that one's own view of an aspect isn't seen as "fact". One person's beauty is another person's horror show. There is no right or wrong in personal taste. Just diff...
