This is the problem
with wearing a $150,000 watch.
There is just too much financial incentive, including injuring or even killing the victim to get it.
I’m not sure this is a problem that can ever be solved.

Glad you and your wife are fine and that you still have your watch. Unfortunately wearing a nice watch especially those fancied on Instagram in a visible way has become very dangerous. I wear them under long sleeves if in public
as places in Europe have become unsafe. If worn visibly only in Monte Carlo you might risk the least in Europe.

did not notice him following us at all, he suddenly came from behind touching my arm/wrist - and I immediately realized what was going on. restaurant was regular lit, long sleeve but the watch is too big to stay there all the time
