The 5170G-010 and 5370P-001 are big hits, I am sure.
With Basel 2015 and Patek releasing their 2015 collection,
everyone is buzzing about the 2015 collection.
The 5170G and the 5370P appeal a lot to me.
Both being in black dial and white metal will be popular to many.
Dark Pateks have always been shrouded with mystery and elegance . These 2 pieces are no different.
For the 5170G, the removal of the words " Gradue pour 15 pulsations" words around the seconds rail track made the dial cleaner and less busy.
Visibility of dial time improved and less is more.
As for the 5370P, it's bringing back the likes of Reference 1463. Being produce in platinum, it further adds exclusivity to the piece.
On the 1463, we have round pushers, on the 5370, we have the rectangular pushers.
For the 5370 which has the split second chronograph, a co-axial pusher at the crown is also necessary.
I have always like the Patek 5959. Now the 5370P is an added opportunity for many who wants a split second chronograph a good alternative.
Personally, these appear as successful pieces which will be sought after.
What do the rest think ?
