Patek Philippe:Baselworld 2018 Review
By: Miranda : March 26th, 2018-05:32
Once again Patek Philippe excelled at the annual watch pilgrimage we call Baselworld. There were standout pieces and here I will give an overview the new collection. I hope to do more in depth reviews of each piece over the coming months. So to start with...

Questions about the Aqua
By: Poky : March 26th, 2018-06:04
I am not sure if I have understood it correctly; if the watch comes with both straps, will a tool to exchange them be included? Any idea on how easy it would be to exchange between the two colours? Any information on whether the new clasp be rolled out to...
Thanks for the summary review!

I enjoyed Patek's 2018 novelties even though we did not see a major technical introduction like the 5650G last year. Okay, we have to talk about the 7150R a little bit more. I think it's place in the Patek catalogue is under appreciated because it is a wo...

Is awesome, Miranda. Thanks so much my friend. Particularly I love the pilot 37.5 mm and the 5968A, truly convinced to buy one. All the best Alex

If 5740 would be made of steel, I would have ordered it already. Best, Kari

I know no one virtually will care...but for posterity...
By: Mostel : March 26th, 2018-16:33
Patek... to me...is like the ultimate fraud. As a serious watch collector who owned many Pateks (including the beyond-ludicrously over-rated Nautilus, which I sold in a few months because it felt so cheap even at the under 17K I paid new... the first year...
I would not go as far as your first statement
By: MTF : March 26th, 2018-21:21
mostel, I would not go as far as you did with your first statement. Every brand will have the same issues with product, position, pricing, etc and not every model will be Internet stars nor auction house divas. I held out for many years from buying Patek ...
Thanks for the write up
By: Wristenthusiast : March 26th, 2018-19:49
Thanks for the write up and pictures. I have yet to make it to a Baselworld. It looks fun and exhausting.

miranda, Thanks very much for the hands on summary with relevant changes highlighted. All the obvious questions and what-ifs have been asked already like "Why only 60-min chronograph; is there insufficient space in the Aquanaut case?" I note your reluctan...
Surprisingly I really like the 5740G
By: blomman Mr Blue : March 28th, 2018-01:03
Not a big fan of the Nautilus or Perpetual Calendar, but this one comes off as very clean. Not cluttered as most PC do. Thank you for a great report, my friend! Best Blomman
I love Patek but!

I am like the others, want the SS aquanaut, and the perpetual Natilus but I recently bought a JLC Duometre enamel dial and two Mosers (one SS perpetual, one concept). PP is a wonderful watch, own 8 of them and all but one have increased in value, however ...
