A lefty chrono and rainbow aqua.. straight out the Rolex playbook? Haha.

Honestly , as a right hander, I think having the pushers on the left side of the case make more sense and is easier. The winding crown on right is easier.

Movement feels like a recycling than purpose built

Followed by the introduction of 5811… It’s a familiar playbook used by other brands but rather unexpected from Patek. I have mixed feeling about this.

After all Mr Thierry Stern mentioned the following in an interview last year to explain the discontinuation of 5711: “I don’t want us to have more than a third steel watches. The steel Nautilus makes up a big part of that quota, and I don’t like that” ... 

I’m confused now by Stern’s discontinuation…did he mean the steel version or time/date version? Well, can’t be time/date given this new 5811.

Likes: dial, movement and clasp Dislikes: increase in size (why???), bracelet still has PINS, no quick change system like in the Overseas BUT, most of all... I really don't care, I have neither the money, nor the relationships, nor the desire to own it.

The Aquanaut with the white silicone strap is spectacular also....

Lots to like here, I’m a fan of all Pateks salmon dials, and the 5811 in WG is a welcome addition. However, I do think the leftie watch looks upside down, it was my first thought and I can’t shake it.

They just rotated the movement 180 degrees and called it a day? Or would that be beneath patek? 😂

Movement. For me it was nice moonphase and leap year indicators

i honestly am not aware of the "situation" you referred to do, but i want to say you have always bee fantastic. i hope this does not stop.

Impressed and surprised by the blue dial of the 5811/1G. Also surprised, but not impressed by the blue dial of the 5990/1A. This means only one thing in my book: Bye bye to the simple date time Nautilus in steel. For good. If PP intended to re introduce t... 

I assumed this is just a way to take advantage of the hype nautilus market, a cash grab while the market is hot, and when things start to soften up then they can reintroduce a steel model. While they don't want to be AP I also don't think they want to ced... 

No more. Sporty Calatrava steel models will do that job. And in 1-3 years time a new line will be introduced - also with a core steel model. The Nautilus is now something more than a simple entry level sport PP. It is, as PP repositioned the entire line, ... 

Of course, unobtainable as usual Lately, I also love the world time chrono too! 🤤

The 5726 is my sibling's 😅 that I wore for a while. The others I posted before were borrowed from the net to show how they're loved. I am looking for a 5980 steel but haven't found one at the 'right' price... Sorry if I misled anyone.

I will take my time r/e the 5980/1A If we are meant to cross path, then it'll happen 😉

I don’t think it’s too busy and love the look. The southpaws have had a pretty good last year I think. Dream watch for me but still, love the movement, case and dial. Only thing I guess I don’t like are the rivet looking things on the lugs. Why do they do... 

Of course we don't have official data on the 5712/1R yet, but from what I'm hearing from people after the first exhibits and client events, I wouldn't be surprised if this new "all-R" model will be another blast at that level! Enjoy.

The world timer is the sleeper of the bunch.

Very nice batch of releases here! But it hasn't even been a week, and some of these are already showing up at gray dealers for 4 times the list price. It really is sad to see. (FabR - please delete if not allowed)
