The Nautilus originally came with a bracelet, it is part of its look. Seeing it on a strap is weird, and ut is visible, if you pay attention to the superior part of the bracelet, close to the lugs. Best, Nicolas

Personally, I prefer the the bracelet references in any of the metals. The watch just feels better with the bracelet. The strap version feels a little uncomfortable with the case lug links and the folding buckle. Maybe it's my wrist but I have found the p...

and I am no exception. The "original" Nautilus and a sport watch should be made of something durable like ss or carbon etc. Very comfortable and well made bracelet. Gold for dress watches. Look at the secondary market pricing, it reflects the situation.

i have 5712 and I love it. for me this watch is associated with ss only. i just do not like it in gold.

Since you already have 5980 1A ss I suggest you go for a rose gold. I agreed that nautilus is more a steel image but the rose gold 5712 on straps looks Awesome You wouldn't go wrong with either ss or rg you will love the 240 cal. Good luck. Regards, Randy...
