Patek Philippe and WatchProSite have a long 20 year long relationship. They were an early supporter of WatchProSite because they agree with the values here at WPS. Especially since we focus on the aficionado experience. Twenty years ago, watch brands thought the internet was a place for people to discuss pricing, discounts, and grey market activities. There was no legitimacy to the internet those days and the luxury market shunned the internet claiming they would never sell their wares on the internet. But twenty years ago, WatchProSite promised that we would not allow non pure discussions on our forum. WPS promised there would be no discussions about pricing, discounts, seller references, nor allowing any grey market activity here and that we would have moderators that would specifically encourage the discussion about watchmaking, mechanicals, and technical details. Due to these promises we received the official support of Audemars Piguet, Chopard, and Patek Philippe among many other brands. For over a decade WPS was the premier watch discussion website and blog, run entirely with a non-professional staff with volunteer moderators.
