Hello from windy Wellington !!
I am new to the forum although I have read a fair few threads and also the articles on Wathcprozine site. I am truly amazed by the quality of the content, the calibre of the contributors, their insight towards the brand and the amazing watches on display here.
I am researching into the history of Patek Philippe enameling, miniature painting ,marquetry and other forms or rare handcrafts. So far, I have read almost all the threads here with images of rare handcrafts. I, like most here am amazed by the work of Susan Rohr and Anita Porchet. Are there any interviews with them available online, preferably in English? Google only found me a couple. I am also looking for any reading material on the life and work of the said two artists and others involved in this fine form of art.
Unfortunately, I do not own a single Patek Philippe rare handcraft. Yet. Therefore, in the interest of adding an image, I have to share my humble 5320g 😁😁

I’ve not seen a single 2020 RH in real life to truly appreciate how wonderful they are. I think for a fair few, myself included, the only way to see these works of art is to attend the exhibition. I suppose there are aptly named “rare” for a reason!! ...
Definitely, RHs need to be fully appreciated in person, much more than other watches, but they are hard to come by! The "School of fish" is totally breathtaking for its choice of colors and tridimensional effect....Here's a few archive shots ;-) Cheers.

I do wear them all, though they are clearly very far from a daily choice (not practical, besides some obvious safety concerns). I would say they are my go-to pieces for special occasions, on top of course of most Patek-sponsored events :-)
