Thank you (and to everyone else who took their time to say hello to me) for the warm welcome and also for the detailed reply. I am humbled.
I should have made clear the fact that I am not a scholar or researcher in the trust sense. Far from it. Like you, there are many contributors here who are a lot more educated about the brand and all things horology. I enjoy the "story" as much the end product and combined with my mild to moderate OCD try my best to understand things better.
I have listened to John Reardon's podcast with AP and that is a great insight to her way of thinking. There is a single short interview in English with SR online which is also vey insightful. It is fascinating to note the mainstream talk very little about these works of art (or what I consider as art) and even less so about the creators of these marvels when in fact it should be totally the other way around. As far as marquetry artists and there creations go, there is even less information available on mainstream.
I find the combination of artistry and the horology in these creations fascinating. Hence why, regardless I own these or not, I enjoy them to the fullest. After all, we do not own the best artwork in the world...
Incidentally, I note your collection is missing the 2020 catalogue which I seem to have π. I will send you a PM if you want me to look for a copy.
I look forward to enjoy the conversations here with like minded and contribute as much as I can.
Many thanks again
