I guess in the fine restaurants hotels and country clubs
they do recognise a fine watch. Especially the pretty waitresses
maitres and receptionists. But in the countryside a rolex is most
noticeable especially in gold. Here in the country club i play golf
in they do recognise a fine watch but more often a rolex would win
out to a patek.

Except for watch dealers or salespeople. But there were several times when I noticed tube commuters wearing Pateks, I couldn't but approach them and stand close to take a good look at their beautiful babies. Perhaps many Patek nuts behave the same, so man...
