Sorry that it might have sounded like that. We are making choices all of our lives, don't we? My point is that even with the premium, given the current values of some high end chronographs from diferrent manufacturers, there is some reasonning behind the market prices of 5070s.. As a matter of fact, the 5070s, except 5070P, are quite competitive even at current market prices. But I understand your point, too.

Which version of 5960P? If blue or black face, then I think you should go for that one over the 5170G.
I am looking pretty much to the movement side.
And when it comes to the dial of 5960P, all the dial colors are pretty nice. I love blue but I'm afraid that it's too shiny so grey and black are my options. Best, Kari
