Which version of 5960P? If blue or black face, then I think you should go for that one over the 5170G.

And when it comes to the dial of 5960P, all the dial colors are pretty nice. I love blue but I'm afraid that it's too shiny so grey and black are my options. Best, Kari

In this case, there would be a better choice than getting the G version. A 5070G! If you don't consider the 5070 as an option, then the 5960P is a superb choice. One manual chronograph movement, one auto, that is great! Best, Nicolas

Oliver, I believe that the "premium", which I decided to pay for, is fully in line with Patek's pricing strategy over the last 5-6 years. Judging by the prices of 5170 G and J, I am sure that a new 5070 G would have costed at least 50.000 euro, if they wo...

I love blue dials and I have at the moment five PP with blue dial. The manual chronograph 5170 is a more complicated issue. If I have to choose between J and G, I do not hesitate a second. I like the G much more. So the issue is that should I try to colle...

Why not a 5070p I think you once said you doubted between the 5070p and the platinum perpetual, you went for the perpetual. But was it the right choice, you once posted this question yourself. The 5070p won't become cheaper and will even go up one day. Yo...

They keep it ver limited like the steel 5004. That pièce was insane expensive. It they make 100 steel 5170, they can ask whatever they want

I wanted so bad to pull the trigger. Not many mordern pateks can do that to me. Since i hv the 5070p , my logical side of me luckily come to my rescue. But i would definayely say 5170G is one of the most beautiful chronograph by patek. Dial is simply too ... 

I would not know which one to choose; 5070G or 5170G. I love the level of finishing of the movement of 5070 while the movement of 5170 is technically fantastic and the watch is of the right size for my chicken wrist. Best, Kari

veru useful watch whereby you have the use of the annual calendar and considering prevailing prices they both are running at same price point. Then on the other hand you hear that both the references in question are being discontinued, in that even 5170g ... 

The problem is that I'm not crazy about the AC complication. At the same time I would rather have 5140G plus 5170G than 5270G. The two watches cost just the same as 5270 but I do not like thick watches and in my opinion a perpetual is nicest with an autom... 

Thus the 5170. On the other hand, the start-stop pusher does not run very smouthly on the 5170 TMHO which I think should with this caliber. 5950A perhaps?

In ruthenium dial,It may look different that most pateks but in a nice way IMHO. It has some nice casualty,That made me fell in love. I am planning for my first patek for christmas,And targeting this piece as well:) I think its the wright time for the 596...
