I finally got my hands on the brand new 5712a.　And what's more, this happened after the discontinuation was announced!

The first PP I bought 13 years ago was the 5711a. At the time, the 5711 seemed to be more popular because it was more streamlined. When I ordered it from AD, I was told that the 5712 would arrive in six months, but the 5711 would take more than a year, so I bought the 5711 on the second-hand market.




But as time went on, I started to be strongly attracted to the 5712. However, as you all know, the price has risen during that time, and I was traumatized by turning down the full price offer from AD. I couldn’t decide to buy it second-hand, so I reordered it from AD and waited for a long time.




Actually, after the announcement of the discontinuation of the 5712, I couldn’t resist buying a used 5712 in good condition. So when I got a call from AD, I was happy and surprised. I took a loss on the used 5712 and bought it back.




This is the first time I’ve owned a Nautilus with the new clasp, so I'm very happy about it.
