The breguet numerals, radium dots and seconds sub-dial are all splendid, and they remind me of the 5196P which has definitely inherited some of the genes from your 565.
In addition to a grey strap, I think a black or dark blue would also match the white metal.

i completely agree if PP where to remake these in 37mm it would be PERFECTO. Original design are special. Always looks natural and never forced upon. Unlike mordern pcs which i find seriously lacking SOUL if u know what i mean. Best Iceman
