Naturally I can ask but I know the answer which will be a polite "No".
It seems that Patek does not really like "Special Orders". I have one on the production line and a discussion with Thierry Stern plus two with Jerome Pernici were needed. Now my next application will go to the table of Mr. Stern next Monday. This request is "easier" than the one on production was but I'm a bit skeptical as one was accepted and for sure Patek does not want that a stupid Finn is all the time requesting something special.
I have a file where I have three special designs made by Patek and with a bit of luck the two still on the table are modified according to my taste.
I am sure that one day Patek will again make a beautiful enamel piece with a platinum case.

Patek is always organising everything 100%. I spent some time in the London exhibition and I have visited the museum & the factory several times. Always impressed. But this time I will try to find something new. Best, Kari

There are very nice RG watches
but I like more white metals and WG is on the third palace on my list after platinum & steel. WG tends to turn yellow so I would say that I'm always rather buying a non-gold watch. Steel is practical and platinum has a very special feel on the wrist. Best...

I found this to be one of the most meaningful parts of the event. Now that it's over, all I have left are some autographs from the artisans and a photo of myself with some of the artisans.
I was very surprised when speaking with the lady painting the centre of 5131:
She told me that it takes in average two weeks to make one dial. If that is the case, the output of 5131 is much less than we generally thought. Let's believe in these numbers and we know that two ladies are working with 5131... They have also their vacat...
