Broader then just Patek

If I understand your question correctly, you would like to learn how people wear such types of watches lets for argument sake call them the higher end watches (priceless relevant but for argument, sake take 50K+.
If so, then the issue is broader than just Patek.
I own a few of those types of watches and I wear them all. I don't hide them under my shirt or coat, I don't keep them in my pocket, I just wear them.
Now admittedly, my destination and the path of travel do have an influence. It is unlikely that I will wear a VC Trad Perp Cal Chrono when I go out late at night after a football match in Amsterdam center.
What I do is that I select the watch that matches 4 criteria:
1) the people I am with and/or who I am going to meet; the old saying "don't wear a Rolex if you're going to ask your bank for a loan" is valid. Nor will I wear a high-end watch if I know in advance the others might be offended by it
2) the purpose: is it business, leisure, family, golf etc, etc
3) my attire; I am not a firm believer in old-fashioned so-called dress rules and I wear my VC Trad just as easily with a suit as with jeans. I look more at the mood I am in, which colors. Nice light blue suit with white shirt screams for the VC 1921 pt with the blue strap. Likewise, a grey pinstriped 3-piece suit screams for the VC Harmony rose gold.
4)Last but not least (but probably the most important factor) is that I look at which watch and jewelry my wife is wearing and adjust accordingly. Never go all out with your highest comp watch if she decides to wear a simple time-only piece etc. Well, I guess you know what I mean.
Hope this is some information you were looking for.
