I love Urwerk, I love even more the Freak, but I am not convinced by this " fusion ". Maybe I neeed some time? My first thought is that it is hard to touch to an Icon. And the Freak is.
Urwerk’s star wheel time display has been by now undermined by a score of other independents that provide similar technology and futuristic looks but in much much cheaper watches. And some of them manage to look more interesting and trendy, like for example Otsuke Lotec etc.
The UR-Freak is definitely stirring the pot—and that’s a good thing. It’s a daring fusion of two boundary-pushing brands, and not everyone is instantly convinced….
