I can't say I know much about the myseterious world of Rolex, but yes this does have an A before the 6538 it and in this case HS10CD on the back, which designates it's military issue. It is a pleasure to wear and hard to return. I am being tempted to the ...

i would love a tradition, but by the time i've saved up i'll be too old to read the time on it i always thought the yg version was the one for me being the traditional tradition as it were, but having tried on one of the recent models with, i think, ruthe... 

I know what you are saying about going back and forth about the choice of metal - this is actually one of the few watches where I have been thinking about getting another one of a different color. They seem to be available used for quite reasonable prices...

thanks Rafal. as i said, i think it was my best buy of 2010. its in superb condition apart from the caseback which is quite scratched, but you cant see the caseback so who cares a very lucky find G...

i was going to wear a thin bezel sm300 Ubik as i wore the Enicar to the last GTG. i'm sure you'll see it eventually. G

does that have polish military markings on the caseback? i only ask as its the divette which is 36mm and i wondered if they would have used that or the larger diver. great looking watch regardless of size or markings. i think my enicar was my best buy of ... 

I am Polish and one of my best friend (Polish officer) who is bugging me for this watch since he had seen it and he was the one who educate me in this matter so this 36mm as well the other bigger one were both bought by polish navy and used - the other on... 

thanks for that indepth explanation rafal. a number of years ago i bought a Blancpain FF with MW markings. the watch was superb, but i now believe that the military markings were a later edition. i'll never really know if it was genuine or not as i sold i... 

with Polish military watches - on one hand during time army was differently marking and engraving the marks, recently I have seen one sherpa in US with definitely fake markings, on the other hand recently one came out in Israel with messy but in my opinio...

Thanks It is a strap-and-a-half in how it fits both case and buckle. I thought the rubber-coated leather would go quickly so I bought a spare, but it's lasted a long long time. Not so good if the cat punctures it though, so I have to be careful in teasing...  

A Casio AW500 from 1989. Had one new in '89 and just picked a NOS example. One of the first analog quartzs....
