and the dial is detailed in ways that just keep drawing you in, color, day night shading, 37 time zones. It is really something to behold. There have already been a few write ups and SJX has a great report. I can't wait for it to come out in WG, then it will be mine!

Added a non-AC dial to my 2254 and it really "classed-up" the dial. Enjoy, Miki

I was able to use an Omega non-AC dial from Otto Frie.

The markers and logo are raised rather than painted.

Often wondered why Omega doesn't offer this. Miki

Still celebrating the Chinese New Year. More feasting tonight; does it ever end? I probably should have a Moonphase watch on, but the 5513 is the standard 'go-to' watch these days, and it seems to be on my wrist again. It's only out by 5 seconds per week, always seems to be wound (that 'perpetual' is very efficient) even if I haven't worn it for long, and it is versatile and, IMO, good looking.

It takes some length of time to work these things out. And I'm not ready to commit permanently to only a couple of watches, but my experience with the 5513 and Journe Octa RdM tells me that it is a possibility one day.

... a Buddhist Sifu gave it to me. I am not Buddhist, but I was helping them out professionally. I don't know its origin. I tend to wear it around New Year celebrations, but of course it has nothing specifically to do with that. Pleased you like it.
