thanks for that indepth explanation rafal.
a number of years ago i bought a Blancpain FF with MW markings. the watch
was superb, but i now believe that the military markings were a later edition.
i'll never really know if it was genuine or not as i sold it before i joined
this forum.
it came from an Australian seller who it seems has a bit of a rep for
selling military pieces that are not quite right.
 
its nice to get a military piece that you know is 100% correct. i bought an
Omega 1953 big arrow from a retired Royal Airforce pilot and it was minty.
 
there is a big following for super compressors and Enicar are up there with
Longines and Universal Geneve.
