with Polish military watches - on one hand during time army was differently marking and engraving the marks, recently I have seen one sherpa in US with definitely fake markings, on the other hand recently one came out in Israel with messy but in my opinion original engraving ,
I have seen so far many fake Breitling's and Prims (even wostocks
) as well couple of FF but my good friend was lucky enough to buy a genuine FF one directly from retired officer and I think thats one of the best ways,
Yours watch 40mm - was for sure in Polish but there is very little information on enicars in MW , there was a time that army was buying seiko 5
the other problem is that the "brooker" Jeznacki - who was suppling watches to Polish army doesn't exist for years and also due to specific conditions as well transformation some things were sold and a lot of documentation has gone
I got this watch just because I love this model and fact that my country navy chose it among many others to use gives it more charm
On the other hand there are exceptions - my friend owns greenlander (is in this family since ww2) issued to polish army in uk with all the paperwork as well documentation of military way this watch went through with the owner (grandfather
)
Anyhow - congrats on this 40mm beauty - Its next on my list
My very best
Rafal
