We never know, indeed, but I have some doubts I will end with a big collection of Vintage Omegas.
Not that I don't admire a Connie, some early Chronos, or other Sea Masters, for example, but I started a bit too late, IMO, for such a collection.
My purpose is to try to find the fundamentals on the Omega Theme.
The Fundamentals and to discover which of the Omega are really attractive, unresistible to me.
To sum a Vintage Omega collection to 3 watches like the Hloy Trinity " is really tempting.
For example, with a Railmaster, I don't need a Ranchero, or other Chronometers.
I already own a SM 300 from 1964 with the large bezel, and very happy with, but with the 14 755, I don't need another Diving Omega.
As for the Speed, the defy will be to find one I really like...It may be a stunning patina, for example, or a SS bezel ( as I'm not vdery fan of this thin bakelite tachymeter bezel )...
The thing is that I discovered a bit too late the Omega world, and that I already have an interesting Vintage collection, basically of JLC pieces.
I already have a lot of watches in my collection, so, now I really want to only complete, not to add...
It's exciting, my friend!
Best,
Nicolas
