Btw, if you decide to replace the crystal (not that I'm suggesting you should), be sure the watchmaker entrusted with that job has the requisite tool which expands the case. A watchmaker may try his hand at installing the crystal without it. That effort wouldn't end well.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me. I called my watchmaker - he quoted me 95.00 to install the new hands which I feel is more than fair. I'll post pics once the new hands are installed. Thanks again! j
