I’ve been curious about this watch for a while now…
…and I wonder if there are any opinions about it here. Its been listed for sale for probably over a year at Emmy Watch. They are very up front about their watches in that they state that they restore and refinish watches and dials. Its listed as a "1961 Seamaster 14770-SC with an incredibly rare dial that features the Omega logo at the 12 o’clock position.” Its certainly a very nice looking watch and I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s seen it. I’m not in the market for another watch right now but I’ve been curious about this watch especially the dial with the Omega logo at 12. Does anybody here have one like it or has seen one like it? Again…just curious.

I've never seen this dial before . . .
. . . and my sense is it's a refinished dial with an innovative 12 o'clock marker. Best, Art

It’s a refinished dial just as I thought, omega has the most simplest and sophisticated dials I’ve seen.
There was a company that used to advertise their products on eBay that had a lot of Omegas....
but apparently they were all refinished and basically Frankenwatches. This was a few years ago.
The guy in Arizona? . . .
. . . out of a hundred maybe one was legit. And I think he owned stock in WD-40. 🙄
