Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, the LC is a very rare car. I see more Maseratis (I'm not a fan of the modern ones myself) than Lexus LCs. However, we've also become a place where we're now all adopting electric cars! I'm also quite sensitive to road noise and tire noise. My Tesla is the loudest car I've ever experienced in terms of tire noise. I also have an older AMG Mercedes, that I'm quite fond of. The modern ones are a bit too glitzy, but this generation fortunately wasn't too glitzy before they put in the garish LED light strips in the cabin. The suspension to the Merc is a tad bit firm, the brakes lack feel (brake by wire), the steering could be a bit more communicative, and the transmission is only a 5 speed so the gear spacing is a little bit wide. I haven't driven the Lexus LC, but I noticed when I was reading the specs, the gear spacing in the transmission were a little wide in the first few gears, and then really tight in the last few gears. I wonder why they did that. It wouldn't be noticeable in daily driving, and in twisty windy mountain roads one might not use those higher gears so it might not be noticeable there, but I found it somewhat unusual. I do hope to one day experience the LC. And your favorable impressions only makes me want to experience it even more!
