Omega

I wanted to get a watch to ski, swim and also kitesurf which is my favourite sport, having restarted my collection with Rolex, I thought would be nice to try Omega. Bought the James Bond Seamaster in Oct. and lost it kitesurfing in Costa Rica in Dec., I s...  

But i have a gripe when I see the silver buckle on the nato strap. The silver version uses a thin sliver as the prong as the buckle which may warp. Omega seamaster bracelets inspire the same fear. A lot of the modern ones are trigger released, without an ... 

Perhaps just a cheap plastic watch for this type of activity and keep the nice watch for the after ski.

So sorry to hear, I’d probably be thinking through some James Cameron style project to find it w robot subs and grid patterns… I wonder if Omega might show some sympathy if they heard your story, after all it seems like you were basically a real-life omeg...

After trying it on the bracelet clasp was just too thick and uncomfortable. Great looking watch though. Sorry for your loss hope it was insured.

at least can take pleasure in the time it was in our possession. No matter how much we love our objects, they may not be forever and memories may have to suffice despite the sadness of loss. If we are truly worse off for the monetary loss, it probably was...
