Re tension ring
I guess, ultimately, its a matter of personal preference, but in my experience the tension ring is usually the same colour as the case metal. E.g. chrome or rhodium colour with stainless. gold colour with gold or gold cap.
I imagine over the years quite a number of SS with gold applied indices Omegas have had their tension rings changed at service which has muddied the waters a bit.

Yes, earlier 2782s also had the printed logo but later ones (late 13 mill and 14 mill serials) tended to have the applied Omega logo. Cheers Desmond
