Hi, An unmarked crown was common at that time. Have a close inspection and see if there are traces of silver on the winding crown - might have rubbed off over the time. The dial may be original to the watch. The word "Omega" could have been "lost" by clea...

I've had a closer look at the crown, but cant see any silver -its all pretty uniform gold in colour, even in the nooks and crannies. Unfortunately, I dont yet have any of the Omega books (either journey or saga) Was this size a mans or a ladies watch thou...

Hi Paul, I have looked up the movement in the "Journey" and it seems to be a Cal. 12´´´S from the bridges layout. Without any hint on the diameter I can only guess - in relation to the lugs the size of this Cal. could match. Most likely a converted pocket...

its not unusual for trench watches not to have the brand on the dial, especially now as they may well have been cleaned off as Erich suggested or might not have been there at all. the dial is possibly a replacement. its a very old watch so not uncommon to...
