My new 3861 is at SGUS in Secaucus, NY...
It took a couple of weeks of daily winding before the movement allowed smooth winding to the recommended 60 winds for full power reserve, 60 hours.
Like every manual movement daily beater I've put on my wrist I gently wind it x 17+/- every morning. After a week or so, little power reserve if any :-(
I called SGUS and spoke with a well informed customer service rep, the same one who told me "60 winds", asked me to send it in for service and I did.
I couldn't help but order this new "improved" Speedmaster specifically for it's stepped dial and DON bezel. Mine has their new nylon strap and clasp.
Just like the old days when I bought a new model car, I should have waited a year before buying so all the "kinks" the come with :new" are resolved.

Your Speedmaster works fine. My Omega is fine. I have great experience with Longines and the Sellita in my B and M. I am curious how my Omega will be, and i knew my watch can be fixed by certified Omega repair center. Still running good, fingers crossed.
