I am not sure this would be entirely connected to the few instances of 3861 that seem to have cropped up. Besides watch geeks like us, who spend a lot of time on fora discussing these issues, I do not believe the general public is aware of them. So a few ... 

Your Speedmaster works fine. My Omega is fine. I have great experience with Longines and the Sellita in my B and M. I am curious how my Omega will be, and i knew my watch can be fixed by certified Omega repair center. Still running good, fingers crossed.

I feel present watch with, instead of 3861, previous 1861 movement would be a perfect Speedmaster for me. I know that's not possible now. Ship has sailed..

It took a couple of weeks of daily winding before the movement allowed smooth winding to the recommended 60 winds for full power reserve, 60 hours. Like every manual movement daily beater I've put on my wrist I gently wind it x 17+/- every morning. After ...
