One of them loved the fireplace so much I was constantly moving him back from it.....the door to the fireplace made a clicking sound. Even if he was on the top floor under the bed and hadn’t heard that sound all summer all I had to do was open that latch ...

They were very smart especially the gray one...he really was a mastermind. He was like a person. I can honestly say that losing him was the worst day of my life. One day we will do it again but for now the freedom is nice.
