I had two Bengals..
One of them loved the fireplace so much I was constantly moving him back from it.....the door to the fireplace made a clicking sound. Even if he was on the top floor under the bed and hadn’t heard that sound all summer all I had to do was open that latch and he would be downstairs in one minute!

They were very smart especially the gray one...he really was a mastermind. He was like a person. I can honestly say that losing him was the worst day of my life. One day we will do it again but for now the freedom is nice.
I can sympathize Miles. I have sadly lost a number of animal companions in my life. Each and every one of them took a piece of my heart with them...
