It waves hello :-)

For some strange reason, it’s back as a daily wearer. I’ve been wearing it regularly for several months when normally I’d wear it only for a few days in a year. Just like old times, really. Looking forward to seeing it reach its 20th birthday next year smile

Even though it may drop off the radar at points, when you go back you appreciate it more. Enjoy getting reaquainted Cheers JML

The marker at 6 positioned means that I had 6 whiskies last time. 🥃🥃 20th anniversary will be in 2026. 😃 ...

It works!

You've just created a novel . . .

. . . DUI defense. "Honest, Judge, I couldn't be above the limit. I used the bezel on my Seamaster chronometer to time my intake!" ...

The best novels were written under alcohol: five of seven US literature nobel price winners were drinking, a lot! 🥃🥃

Sinclair Lewis, Eugene O`Neill, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway und John Steinbeck. Jack London drank a lot too, but was not honoured the novel prize. Good company, I would say! 😃

Yes, no doubt that many of our best writers liked their drinks.

Now all I need to do is start writing..? Ugh, I need a drink.

Drinking culture 😉 ... 🥃🥃.

By far one of the best Seamasters…

Prefer it to the standard 300…in fact advised a friend to purchase it as a starter Watch..,

The 36mm version of this watch was my first “higher end” mechanical.

 By: RabidManatee : November 28th, 2022-13:41
I wore it as my only watch for several years but ultimately sold it as the 36mm size, incl. bezel, didn’t look quite right, esp. with the full-sized HEV protrusion. That being said it had a reliable ETA 2892 inside a thin, comfortable case with a timing b...

Thanks for sharing that story. In a similar vein, my first ever nice watch was an Aqua Terra at 41..

Which i eventually found too big. If I had bought the 38mm, I’d also likely still have it. It’s definitely getting a lot of wrist time. Comfort is a great draw these days and the slim profile and Bond bracelet makes it a go to watch

Makes sense — I also think I’d find the 41mm AT too big, but the 38mm just right.

I had an IWC Mark XV which I also (stupidly) let go which, at 38mm, wore perfectly.

Classic👌
