Tomorrow is finally Friday! While waiting for tomorrow, I saw this online.... What do you think about this one's dial? It looks sooo good to be truly legit tho I admit, but I can't help drooling over this one.... Someone please save me.... ......please pa...

And not sure about the lume tho.... Cuz it's stated no "T" on the bottom to indicate that it's not having lume on the dial (eventhough I'm not sure it's original tho haha)

There should have been radium lume but it is gone, so perhaps it is the work of swiss time services or omega bienne who refinished it. But who ever did it, did a brilliant job

I.e. don't intend to sell it and don't care about the resale value, then go where your heart takes you. It is certainly very nice looking

Looks very nice, even if a redial. If you were to buy it would anyone on the street even know its a redial, most likely never notice, it would take a true "watch person" to notice and odds are slim and none they would notice. Again, nice watch!!

Cuz it's just too dang nice to be redial as well.... And too good to be legit for its age....

I'm no expert, and certainly not with Omega, but maybe it's original. Look how clean the movement appears. I have an 1899 Lange PW which looks like it was made a year ago-and it's confirmed all original.

If the dial was that good but the movement got tons of this and that, I could straight away leave it... But this one was equipped with a very clean movement as well.... So... Thanks man for your input... Still 3 days away but I'll take your opinion in min...

If that's so, then possibly that's the case because I've seen watches sent to be serviced there and comes up looks like new (change/refurbish the dial, the hands were kept in place, restored movement, manufacturer standard polishing, and new caseback gask... 

. . . to survive the decades (and it's going on six for this specimen) in pristine condition, it's not likely. A service dial would be a reasonable explanation, but I doubt Omega has them for this reference. Not impossible, but not likely, either. How muc...

Yeah, if it's above 600 then I can't partake on the bidding because imo it's above my budget for a simple three hand watch, but my friend said that he'll partake in it if it indeed ended around those numbers. And rest assured, one friend of mine that have... 

. . . of the back of the dial. That could help settle the matter. I could find no technical issue with the dial (or hands or crown) - it was simply the unlikelihood of it surviving six decades without a hint of aging that unnerved me. Best, Art

It's true about what you said, for that amount I'll start looking for an omega marine (saw some in considerable condition, dang I missed the opportunity) or a very nice gold constellation, or a seamaster with rotating bezel(saw some around the same price)... 

. . . really torn about making the call on that dial, especially since it's sourced from Japan, where the good stuff often ends up. Little wonder it went for such a high price - black dials with rose gold furniture are aesthetically compelling. As for cry... 

I'd be grateful for a link tontut auction as I just might make one. I've been looking for something like that and wouldn't care, if it necessarily wasn't 100% kosher... I just like the look of it.
