Dial script is spot-on . . .

. . . and the crown and hands are correct.  The problem is there isn't any aging evident - in other words, it's too good to be true.

There are some exceptionally adept re-dials currently, unlike the old days when they were easy to spot.  Since black is the usual route for refinishers as it covers up a multitude of errors, and the case appears to be refinished (albeit nicely), I'm going to provisionally lean against it being original.  But I am uncomfortable saying that; there's nothing obviously wrong with it.

It's worth investigating with the seller to see if there's any supporting evidence of its originality.  Often, refinished dials are painted on the back; asking for a photo of the back of the dial would be helpful.

Cautiously,

Art
