Hi Marv,
I have absolutely the same situation with the identical SM chronometre model...
It has Cal. 352, same dial, and the same case model in pink gold - there was also the movement only delivered to France...
What a coincidence!
Some collectors do not value these French cased Omegas as they appreciate the Swiss cased models much more - why?
They are absolutely of the same design as the swiss cased ones, also signed "Omega" inside and have the same highest quality movements.
The only hints are different Omega marking (they use the older round punch, not the triangle) and the addition "Fab Suisse" on the dial inscriptions
besides the different French hallmarks for the gold content (mostly an eagle-head)...
When you consider that the case also on "swiss models" is not produced by Omega themselves but by a contract case maker
then the difference in appreciation is not rational...
A similar situation is with 30 T2 SC Rg chronometers: only the movements had been delivered to France, but with these hand wound chronometres there were
used different shaped cases which you can find only on these French models - they are much rarer, some say like hens teeth...
I like these "French cases" as they add rarity and collectibility to the watch.
Just my thoughts
