i do sort of agree with you Aroma. proper research can negate the need for an extract

 

funnily enough, the majority of my Omega's have -64 after the ref number. i always try to buy ones with the date on the caseback as it pretty much seals the deal date wise which as you know is important to me.

i havent yet figured out why some watches have the date after the reference and others dont even when they are the same model and case maker.

i suppose thats a point to bring up in another thread.

i do agree that £50 is a lot of money to spend on an extract unless it is for one of the frequently faked models like the SM300 and you intend to sell it in the future. i cant think of another model i'd bother getting one for. the only one i have came with my 105.003-64 speedmaster. they do however confirm that the movement and case belong together which is important.
