That said, there are incompetent watchmakers in private trade, and even the most assiduous can make errors.  Movement parts availability shouldn't be an issue with your Speedmaster, but external parts might.  Miki's suggestion is right on target: find a local watchmaker certified by Omega with a parts account.  That would be the best route.

I am not an expert on Omega Speedmasters, but I do own one that I purchased new from an authorized dealer in the mid-90’s. I have worn it occassionally over the years so other than a few hairline marks on the clasp it is in good shape. Serial number is 48...
