Your Omega Speedmaster looks very good.

It has a beautiful patina on the index markers.
A well respected independent watchmaker would be the best way forward, but this still has its risks and they need to have access to any required parts. 
Omega always return any parts that they replace and give a good guarantee with the work. The difficult issue is that when you hand your watch over to anyone you can’t control of the process. You should photograph your watch from several aspects and specify in writing to Omega what you don’t want them to touch.

I am not an expert on Omega Speedmasters, but I do own one that I purchased new from an authorized dealer in the mid-90’s. I have worn it occassionally over the years so other than a few hairline marks on the clasp it is in good shape. Serial number is 48...
