I got the call yesterday but had to wait until today to pick up.

Still cannot believe I got a call after less than a few weeks on the waiting list. The boutique only had one allocation too, so must have been very very lucky.

I needed to fill a void after parting with another sector dial.

Looks very good. Enjoy !

I contacted them at the beginning of March based on a photo I saw on Instagram. Unbelievably, my piece just arrived today as you posted your beauty! Unfortunately, I’m out of town with a client on business! 😩

It was difficult to find many photos online.

How is the winding feel?

Winding is smooth with just enough resistance and noise to feel fulfilling! I was also pleasantly surprised by the quick hour set. ...  

Do you know how thick the case is? It seems a bit thick to me, so hopefully it is still less than 10mm.

The lug to lug seems a bit long. Could you help to measure it? And could you make sure that the caseback is screwed in or pressure fitted? Thanks for sharing.

I quickly measured and I got around 45mm. The back is pressure fitted. I will share some back shots soon.

I guess they want to save thickness as much as they can. Lovely watch. Congratulation.

I got the call today to see it at the boutique after inquiring on the day it was launched. Really want to see this in person. I see you or someone else posted it's 11.7mm thick which is fine but was hoping it was 10mm or less. I see this as a possible com... 

Limited to the plastic calipers I own. Picture includes bad photo next to 39mm Explorer. Nevertheless I measured: 11.7mm Total height including domed crystal 8.5-9mm Case height without crystal 46mm Lug to Lug ...  

I pulled the trigger. They gave me a single watch travel case while I was pushing for a complimentary extra strap. I was impressed with the Omega straps but I don’t think they include quick release spring bars. ...  

They was also kind to give me a travel case to keep it separate from the box.

The boutique said there around 2K of these being made. She told me the number…but I forget if she said 1,900 or 2,300 or 2,500. She also said allocations are sent to boutiques with priority sent to boutiques where customers have made request for the watch... 

The last part makes sense. I did not think this was a limited edition, but I would assume numbers are not finite for speciality pieces anyway.

About availability etc.

The crystal however is quite a bit domed and not many may like it. Hardly noticeable due to the double anti-reflective coating.

I asked Omega how many turns of the crown will fully charge the mainspring and they said about 65 full 360 clockwise turns of the crown will ensure a complete power reserve. Cheers

For reference 40-45 turns a day did not help and had increased this to 60. It is a shame the caliber is not in the generic manual.

The manual provided with watch was an old one not including references to caliber 8926. The online manual I found has info on caliber 8926 but as far as I could tell did not mention winds to fully charge. www.omegawatches.com
