Well, Guys, I have to confess that I sinned again, and that I finally decided to buy this SM 14 755...
I'm preparing a small quick view on this superb watch, but while playing with it, something jumped into my eyes, quite immediately.
At the beginning, I thought that the dial of the 14 755 was very close to another watch, very dear to my heart, the JLD Deep Sea Alarm Europe.
And I thought there was the only similitude between these 2 Watches.
Same thin triangular indexes, minute quarters for the DSA, 4 hour numbers for the SM 300, the layout of the dial is indeed very close on both of these watches.
But another thing came to my eyes...
Look at the case:
Both have a 39 mm case, both have quite the same shpaed lugs, the same thickness, the same profile, even if the bezel is not the same, and the number of the crowns, due to the presence of the Alarm on the JLC:
So, is ti another evidence of the links which existed between JLC and Omega, lie it was the case, for example ( and if I' mnot not wrong ) for some WW II Military watches, or is is just a coincidence?
The more you learn, the less you know!
Best,
Nicolas
